Hope For 2014

 

My word for 2014 is HOPE. I don't do resolutions because they don't work. I have decided to put my focus on the word HOPE and what it means to me. I'm looking forward with excitement and expectation in what God has in store for us in 2014. I don't have to worry about my future because I have a HOPE in my Lord.

 

 

Jeremiah 29:11 says it all for me. God knows what He has planned for me. He loves me and wants for me to prosper and to have HOPE and a future.  But here is the problem with this. He knows the plans but are we willing to accept His plans?  God has given each one of us a free will to make a choice if we will follow Him or go our own way. Most of us will go our own way because we have been told to take care of ourself. If you want something you have to fight for it. Well God send Jesus to fight the fight for us. I don't need to fight. I need to be His eyes, hands and feet to go into the world and change the hopelessness to HOPE because God already knows what He has planned for us.

 

 

Now here is the part that I must do. When God has a plan for you, you have a responsibility to work at it will all your heart. He doesn't tell us to set back. We need to be in prayer at all time. Searching for what He has in store for us. My Hope comes from the Lord.  Are you open to what God wants you to do? Are your HOPES in the Lord ?

 

 

 

In the last 3 yrs I have had many losses. I have been in tribulation. Was I patient? No I was mad at God. How could He let all these things happen to me and my family. We are good people. I was so unhappy. I didn't love God any less but no more did I want to be in communication with Him. You know when someone lets you down you don't want to be around them. Well that was me. Without HOPE I lost my prayer life. I gave up. What good was it to have HOPE?

 

 

Well things have changed. God didn't leave me I left Him. I had to go back and tell God I was sorry for walking away from Him. I'm so glad He knows my heart. I'm glad He has a plans for me and a HOPE for my future. I was hopeless and He replaced that with HOPE

 

This year my mouth will speak HOPE in everything that I do. Hope for the world, for the lonely, the sad, the hungry,and so much more. Let me be there to help change the hopelessness in the world. Let them see Jesus in me through His divine HOPE.
